anw ytd was DUPER GOOD! had guides after and i managed to pass firelighting and tentage! im really relieved i dunnid to pick anymore twigs(: i love my tentage team: elmo, net, yenyee, tumax and vera! haha our team can bomb u wan:p
yep..then i dug out alot of stuff ytd too.. shant spell out what i dug out, but it caused me to haf this super bad muscle ache at my waist:/
and today! though lessons were really boring and all, i managed to pull through! hoho and i also pulled through 3rd lang lessons today.. sometimes, i really am amazed with how i survived all these monotonous and tiring lessons.. haha sensei was super nice today and i really enjoy her lessons:D haha then ben was complaining how his sensei let them out late and everything.. im happy i haf momoko sensei:D after tht, i went to haf dinner with some fat person. hahaha ok to tht person, seriously NO OFFENCE OK.. pls dun go ano hor. yala.. went to haf dinner at long johns.. and i believe i ate down 1kg of oil ok. it was so fatty.. guilty me:/
hmm i only reached home at close to 9? i think this must be the first time in this year i reach home tht late.. hehe but luckily my mum dint talk to me or sth.
AHHH i still haf physics journal, chinese hmk, chem revision, etc:( ohgosh. and i haven finish the task my mum gave me:( THIS IS SO BAD. and my stomach feels bloated. BAD BAD BAD.

it's scary to read people's blog at times.. blogs do show how tht person thinks and all.. it's scary to realise tht u dint noe there's this side of tht person. it kindof sucks to realise it anw.. not like it's some big and amazing discovery.
but one thing, i always believe tht no one has the rights to label anyone with anything. yes we do talk bad about people and label them as bimbos/bitches/idiots/dumbos... haha i realise i really dun wan people to say tht of me. tht totally contradicts my point tht no one has the rights to label anyone with anything:P ok fine, i will try my best to change this stoopit habit of mine la(: but anw wad i cannot take is when someone labels people as being "not smart" or "no brains" or "not geniuses".. LIKE WTV. like u noe wads the definition of being smart?! nahhh u dont, u only noe tht being smart is scoring well and being able to do all those annoying qns on w/s, exam papers, tests, practices, etc..

ha! im back home:D i havent been blogging for 3 days, realise?(:
these 3 days have been the happiest and the sweetest since my year 2008 started:D
our taiwan buddies came to our sch for culture exhange on monday.. and we were so excited when we saw them lined up neatly at the front of the parade square. chow,limei,kacheek,pris,jinx and me were like *screams* *yells* *ahhs* *whoo* *yay* -ing away:p i guess its really hard to experience such excitement in life. it's like meeting our buddies all the way from taiwan after 3 long months. it's been 3 mths, time flies! although we went to their sch for only 4-5hrs, we really became gd friends:D im really proud of our overseas friendships.. yup so anw, after flag-raising.. all of us chiong to the front of the parade square and said HI to them(: it was so nice to see them waving back at us.. v sweeeet:D haha then we had to leave reluctantly for our lessons..
after sch at 3, we went to the shared classroom to meet up with them for some interaction time la. the food laoshi ordered in was sososososo gooood ok. there were tons of pizzas, tons of chicken wings, tons of packet drinks, tons of cocacola, tons of twisties, etc etc.. it was a whole table load of food. damn gd:D but my buddy and i only ate a slice of pizza and a cup of coke:D ohyah i forgot to blog about how my buddy reacted when she saw me.. she was jumping and waving to me u noeee!!! i was so happy and touched at tht point of time i went up to her and said HELLO!!! haha then i started asking how was life in rgs and singapore.. she said singapore was fun and the lessons in rgs was really boring.. haha i agree with the second part totally la.. anw i had alot of fun talking to her and taking photos.. actually, it was quite awkward laa, cuz we had nth to talk about after awhile.. we just kept taking photos:p at around 4, they had to leave our sch alr.. haha we ran after them to get their hotel no and rm no so we can call them:D yup thts all for the day!:D
its TUESDAY!:D as usual, limei and i were really excited while coming to sch cuz we knew we could see our taiwan buddies:D u noe after the first period of the day, my taiwan buddy, shuman, came to my classroom expecially to look for me:D i tell u ar.. i was really really touched ok.. there was this overwhelming feeling.. haha just really happy to see shuman standing at my classroom door waving to me(: then i shouted "look look.. my buddy my buddy my buddy!!"to elmo and all.. haha she was really cute! she passed me this letter she wrote during the lesson before cuz according to her, the lesson was boring and they did not really manage to understand the teacher's english:p i was changed into my PE attire by then, and ready to go for PE. shuman says our PE attire was pretty! haha thts because our shorts are SHORT, while their shorts are like 3/4 kind. yupyup i read her letter on the way down to the field and it was really damn sweet:D she even folded the letter into a pretty heart shape for meee. i really love shuman! *loves*
yupyup then after sch, we met our taiwan buddies at the koi pond:D they were given 2hrs free and easy time so we brought them to our classrooms to chat! haha there was me chow and limei, tgt with shuman cathy mickey and shaojun! it was so fun la seriously.. we talked quite alot of crap and bitched alot bout our sch prefects. HAHAHA yay:D then we also took alot alot of photos and listened to music:D when it was close to 5, we brought them down to the foyer and walked them to their coaches. haha i think limei, chow and me are the best buddies laaaa. we heard tht they are going to orchard to shop and guess wad?! bingo! we packed our bags and took a bus to orchard too!!:D haha we walked around the entire orchard for 1 1/2 and dint manage to find them though:/ it turned out they were at the galleria DFS shopping when we called their hotel no at around 1040pm. haha we conferenced call and talked to shuman, cathy and mickey:D then we also called all our guy buddies to talk to them for awhile. we also called xu shu huai, wang shi tong and wang sheng hui! hehe i was really happy when i got to talk to sheng hui leh! it felt so greay to be able to talk to him again!:D haha it was fun talking to them! all of them sounded so startled when they first heard our voices, then realise who we were.. damn cute^^ yupyup! then we hung up at around 1140 and tadaaa.. light out.
ahar! and there comes today:D all of us were so sad when we realise we carn see our buddies in sch anymore.. like limei says, its like losing this sense of motivation and all:/ i really missed shuman alot during sch:/ but limei, chow and i were alr planning to go to the bird park to look for them after sch. we got to noe from their schedule booklet tht they will be at the bird park from 3 to 5. i left guides session halfway and joined limei and chow in our journey to the birk park. im really sorry to all the guides:/ i noe i shldnt haf left for such reasons, but i really will regret if i dun see shuman and shenghui for like the last time. so im really sorry guides! yup so 3 of us took 190 to bktpangjang plaza, transferred to 180 and took to lakeside mrt stn, then 98 to corporation road, then ran for a taxi to birdpark. by the time we reached there, it was already close to 5? we were really freaked out when we saw no signs of our taiwan buddies and their tour buses alright. we thought we have made anuder futile trip, like how we dint manage to find them in orchard road ytd. we decided to approach the 'ticket man' and asked him if he saw any large groups of taiwan students. the moment he told us they left, our heart was like PLOP *dies*. but luckily, chow and limei continued to confirm with him and then came this woman who said tht the taiwan group might still be in the birdpark. they allowed me to enter the main stn of the bird park to check if our taiwan buddies were there. they were really nice to us la.. love them so much:D yupyup so when i was walking towards the main stn, i saw this large group of people carrying this similar backpack and i was so sure they were from taiwan laaa! i was so freaking overjoyed i nearly teared actually:/ yup then they were really surprised to see me there and they were asking me how i turned up here. haha then ya se wang brought me to shuman and i was like WHEEWHEE. shuman ran to me and held my hands u noe u noe!! hehe then i started talking to her about the bird park and all.. then she told me the birdpark 是超酷的^^ yupyup talked to her for quite awhile.. and i managed to see shenghui too!! i waved at him damn enthusiastically la cannn.. he must haf thought i was crazy or sth.. haha but ohwells! i was seriously damn excited when i saw him. then i started to feel quite weird cuz the taiwan guys and girls were starting to look at me, wondering where i popped out from.. so yep, told shuman i will be waiting for them outside along with chow and limei..
when all of them came to the main entrance, chow managed to take a photo with ya se wang!! tht moment was sooo sweeeet la:p haha then i took photos with shuman:D AND AND AND sheng hui waved goodbye to me leh!!! i was so glad!! but sadly, i dint manage to grab him and take a photo with him:/ but ohwells, i must be contented!! hehe at least i managed to see shenghui and shuman again:D yay God is great:D i walked with shuman to her coach and hugged her for the last time.. then yep, byebye taiwan buddiesssss^^
i guess this is the first time i did so much just to see my friends, seriously. maybe its because shuman and shenghui are from taiwan la, but i realise how much i treasure these friendships. they really mean alot alot to me(: shuman has been a really cheerful, cute and sweeet girl(: she's like a little girl, but somehow i seem to be able to talk to her about anything(though i haf to speak in chi). we will continue to email each other and keep in close contact:D and i believe i will see shenghui and shuman again.. such overseas friendships are not easy to come by, and im really glad and touched tht my first ever 2 buddies are so lovely and friendly. i hope this doesnt sound too cliche, but i really will rmbr these 2 buddies forever(: they made me realise how much joy friendships forged less than a week can bring. i love shuman and shenghui!! LOVEEEEE!
im really tired now:( mentally.
alot of work coming up, and theres so much revision to do.. theres not enuff time everyday after sch.. i feel damn desperate for time.
anw our taiwan buddies came to our sch today and we were really excited:D its been a few mths since we last saw them. our taiwan buddies were all so cute. i love shuman!:D she was so ke ai can, she jumped and waved at me when she spotted me.. haha i felt so guilty for taking quite awhile to recognize her. but anyway yah, she's the greatest buddyy:D
will be accompanying them again tmr after sch, and tht means i haf to pon 3rd lang. haha it should be worthwhile la.
and and and chow brought sushi for us today.. it was so damn good. yumyum!
other than tht, today was quite scary.. with trip sci, geog, math and chi lessons.. how bad can such combi be rite.. but i managed to survive all the lessons without even dozing off.. im proud of myself:D haha yepyep let's hope for a better day tmr whoohoo!!!:D tmr limei bring fried rice yummy:D

Friday was good because there were only 4periods, endurable:D and the best thing was bio lesson wasnt theory, it was practical! haha i found the handling of those lab equipments quite funnnn:D

hoho the instructions were quite cool too.
ohyah, then friday was the first day our clan start our menu plan:D moohaha.. the beehoon my sis and mum cooked was yummy. i like the feeling of having clan eating together(: chow is bringing sushi tmr for us, someone here i superrr excited! haha i love sushi yes i do:D
ohyah, we also completed our class decor tht day.. it turned out really pretty and chow took pics of it.. shall go kope from her blog:p im proud of my group, cuz we did a great job. say YES:D
after sch, i had to go for guides pioneering practice and i thought it was a good practice for us. firelighting with elmo and qiying was enjoyable man. we were like chiongchiongchiong, must boil our water in 20mins.. then we were like choking the entire pit with twigs:p anw we managed to boil water in 25mins:p we were damne xcited when we saw bubbles in the water loh.. haha the excitement is like... amazing!!:p
after that, we had firelighting which was really stressful. my group attempted to pass tentage without prior practice and yah we failed:( hahaha it was so stressful la!! we had 20mins to finish pitching the tent and SUAYSUAY at the 15th min, we realise our flysheet was not attached at the dolly area?!?! like wth. then we had to untie all our twines and start from scratch.. haha then we dint manage to pitch the tent in time, and yah sadly, alot of our pegs are not aligned:p ohwells, we will do better the next time yea!:D
yup then went home with limei and home sweet home:D
ok now i shall talk about saturday:D haha im sorry to all the guides tht day, cuz i overslept:/ and i only woke up at the time i was supposed to be at tiong bahru. so i reached like 1hr late but hehe i dint get any blackface:p cip was fun with all the small talks we have, looking at how cute the kids were, helping out with the CNY decorations. the childcare looks really bright and pretty with all the decorations:D haha felt so happy after doing CIP. ohyahhh and i saw zifeng and weiquan again:D haha they were soooo ultra cute. both of them were helping to bathe the turtle tgt. then the way zifeng ran back and forth to get water was really cute:D he ran like 7 to 8 times to the toilet.. haha active kid. then weiquan was being so steady trying to wash the turtle and feeding it.. haha cute people, really find them lovable<33
yup after CIP, lynnette accompanied me to go get my sis bdae presents at tb plaza. i must say tht place is a horror to shop for presents. i dint manage to get anything except for a pair of slippers:/ haha so in the end, i went to je alone and managed to get a sport outfit, a tunic top and a necklace for my sis:D felt really proud of my good taste for fashion:p my mum said the clothes i got for my sis were beautiful.. nehneh i win!!:D haha then our dad brought us to the market cafe at raffleshotel to have dinner. their sashimi and icecream were SO GOOD! and their oysters too omg. i ate alot and i felt so guilty after tht. but the sashimi really made my day i swear:D
then finally, today was just rushing of my commonwealth essay and other bits and pieces of work. im feeling bad, cuz i dint complete much work actually:( but i managed to drag myself for church service today moohaha. as usual, the service was inspiring and i believe i have learnt sth from it. YAY!:D

wow.. its been quiteee awhile since i last blogged? haha anw im back!:D
school has been fine and manageable.. im still able to keep myself awake in class thats gd. haha im alr getting used to the mundane sch routine.. keep going joyce:D its going to be a short but impt year, so i will keep myself positive and all(: hoho i must say im really quite ready and charged for the year.. thats mainly because everyone is kindof ready too, and it really gives me this we're-all-in-this-tgt feeling:D haha and also, the teachers all seem so approachable and willing to bring us through the year.. whoohoo:D
ohya, i went for my 3rd lang lessons this wk.. though i must say it feels like shit to be not able to understand almost 70% of what the sensei is talking about, it feels good to be back learning and everything:D i realise my reluctance in going for jap lessons is cuz of the transport and all, but i do enjoy jap lessons held by my current sensei:D she's really nice and she can speak english, which is really gd for ME! haha and most imptly, i have broke free from tan sensei's class. moohaha. Ohyes, and i met Ben at the 3rd lang ctr too.. the last time i saw him was like centuries ago... ohman i kindof miss our sec2 jap class:/ time flies, really.
haha and anuder gd news! our taiwan buddies are coming to singapore on the 18thJAN! moohaha in case you realise i havent been talking much bout TAIWAN, tht doesnt mean i have forgotten bout my wonderful mth over there.. i still miss it like hell at times:/ haha anw im really excited to see shuman and shenghui again:D i believe it will be really fun!! but the sad thing is we're not their buddies:/ its really quite dumb la.. they actually assigned the sec2s to be their buddies when the sec2 dint even go to taiwan.. blah. but anw, limei and i haf bought presents for them at bugis so yay, someone here is excited to meet them and gif them presents:D
ok today! the guides went to do cip at the childcare near tiong bahru again:D haha today was fun! other than the marking of assessment bks, wiping of mattresses, wiping of windows, wiping of cupboards, we get to teach the little kids handicrafts too!:D haha it was fun getting to interact with the cuteee kawaiii ke ai little kids! haha actually, i think im really bias to some of them.. some were sooo noisy and talkative.. but some were really cute and sweet(: i was sitting between zi feng and wei quan.. they were so cute!! haha these 2 little boys love colouring, and its quite cool to see their different styles of colouring.. zi feng likes to use similar shades of colours so that the product looks real and all.. but wei quan loves to use really contrasting colours and they are really striking.. so the product looks really cartoonish and fake. haha ke ai rite!! yea then cut out the heads of the dragon for them and hung them up..
after which, i just sat around and stoned abit? haha. then i couldnt stand the slight boredom i was getting, so elmo and i went to do calligraphy.. we were so act cheem in chinese.. like writing 大地回春 and 竹林?! haha! and not only tht, we started frawing bamboos too.. they turned out really pretty i swear:D look at the pics if u dun believe:p then we started teaching some kids how to draw the bamboos and they did it really reeally reeeally well too!! haha then they drew their names on the redpaper, and theres this girl weizhen who even drew oranges on her paper.. really really cute people, i like:D
oh and i kindof made wei quan feel really weird.. haha cuz i keep going 'i love you i love you'.. then he kept going 'aiyoyo'.. hahaha but i really love you whaaaat. HAHAHA joker.
haha yep, then elmo and i left earlier cuz elmo has to go for church service and all.. so we went to tb plaza to makan.. haha i love my lunch. it tasted super super yummy moohaha.

ok anw im damn impressed with the IB prog.. the first batch of the students in it have really proved to everyone that IB can do as good a job like a lvls, or even better. I watched the news i was like -gasp- i believe the people in the IB must have mugged really hard.. haha and my mum made some weird comment after watching the news..

2008 COUNTDOWN
okok i must update on the clan sleepover on... MONDAY!:D
gathered at my house around 5plus la.. then we just stoned in front of the tv for quite awhile:p i was showing clan the bbt pretty faces!! moohaha WANG ZI!:D
after tht, fiona was feeling hungry and all and so she bugged us to plan our dinner:p we ended up ordering canadian pizza in.. it was yummy! their standards of pizzas have improved i must say.. we ate the hawaiian and bbq chicken pizzas. damn good:D except for the gain in weight part:/
later on, we played bridge and all sorts.. and mahjong too!! haha quite fun la.. kacheek and me won alot of games yay yay yay!!:D haha so its like playing plus snacking plus talking plus luffing.. then it was 1150 alr. we tuned in to ch5 and waited for the once in a yr COUNTDOWN:D
haha eh? i forgot whose idea it was to shout out the window.. but yea! we shouted at the window.. haha damn gd leh the feeling.. just shout like nobody's business:p i could feel my lungs vibrating when i shouted laaa. walalala.. HAPPY NEW YEAR!:D

FIRST DAY OF SCH!
hmm.. i just have to say tht going back to sch is horrible terrible and everything:/ it's like i have to wake up soooo early in the morning, walk all the way to the mrt stn, take the mrt, change bus, walk into my classroom, sit down and listen to the teacher...

haha anw i woke up really earlly at 545 today, then headed to the mrt stn. limei la.. made me wait for 10mins:( haha but anw i met lionel like for the very first time today!! i must say he's nice enuff to alight at my stn and wait for limei tgt..
then today sch wasjust all the talks and admin stuff la, nth much:( and i seriously think our class is SUAY enuff to get such form and cle tchers:/ someone save our class.. WHYWHYWHY! urgh.
but anywayyy.. other than tht, sch was still survivable:p
ohyah, i must say i enjoyed the individual house meeting:p cuz i was just luffing throughout at aera.. elmo luffed alot too.. our stomach muscles totally stiffened by the end of the meeting.. haha wonderful!! i love luffing.. it just keeps going and it doesnt stop!!:D
