these 3 days have been the happiest and the sweetest since my year 2008 started:Dour taiwan buddies came to our sch for culture exhange on monday.. and we were so excited when we saw them lined up neatly at the front of the parade square. chow,limei,kacheek,pris,jinx and me were like *screams* *yells* *ahhs* *whoo* *yay* -ing away:p i guess its really hard to experience such excitement in life. it's like meeting our buddies all the way from taiwan after 3 long months. it's been 3 mths, time flies! although we went to their sch for only 4-5hrs, we really became gd friends:D im really proud of our overseas friendships.. yup so anw, after flag-raising.. all of us chiong to the front of the parade square and said HI to them(: it was so nice to see them waving back at us.. v sweeeet:D haha then we had to leave reluctantly for our lessons..
after sch at 3, we went to the shared classroom to meet up with them for some interaction time la. the food laoshi ordered in was sososososo gooood ok. there were tons of pizzas, tons of chicken wings, tons of packet drinks, tons of cocacola, tons of twisties, etc etc.. it was a whole table load of food. damn gd:D but my buddy and i only ate a slice of pizza and a cup of coke:D ohyah i forgot to blog about how my buddy reacted when she saw me.. she was jumping and waving to me u noeee!!! i was so happy and touched at tht point of time i went up to her and said HELLO!!! haha then i started asking how was life in rgs and singapore.. she said singapore was fun and the lessons in rgs was really boring.. haha i agree with the second part totally la.. anw i had alot of fun talking to her and taking photos.. actually, it was quite awkward laa, cuz we had nth to talk about after awhile.. we just kept taking photos:p at around 4, they had to leave our sch alr.. haha we ran after them to get their hotel no and rm no so we can call them:D yup thts all for the day!:D
its TUESDAY!:D as usual, limei and i were really excited while coming to sch cuz we knew we could see our taiwan buddies:D u noe after the first period of the day, my taiwan buddy, shuman, came to my classroom expecially to look for me:D i tell u ar.. i was really really touched ok.. there was this overwhelming feeling.. haha just really happy to see shuman standing at my classroom door waving to me(: then i shouted "look look.. my buddy my buddy my buddy!!"to elmo and all.. haha she was really cute! she passed me this letter she wrote during the lesson before cuz according to her, the lesson was boring and they did not really manage to understand the teacher's english:p i was changed into my PE attire by then, and ready to go for PE. shuman says our PE attire was pretty! haha thts because our shorts are SHORT, while their shorts are like 3/4 kind. yupyup i read her letter on the way down to the field and it was really damn sweet:D she even folded the letter into a pretty heart shape for meee. i really love shuman! *loves*
yupyup then after sch, we met our taiwan buddies at the koi pond:D they were given 2hrs free and easy time so we brought them to our classrooms to chat! haha there was me chow and limei, tgt with shuman cathy mickey and shaojun! it was so fun la seriously.. we talked quite alot of crap and bitched alot bout our sch prefects. HAHAHA yay:D then we also took alot alot of photos and listened to music:D when it was close to 5, we brought them down to the foyer and walked them to their coaches. haha i think limei, chow and me are the best buddies laaaa. we heard tht they are going to orchard to shop and guess wad?! bingo! we packed our bags and took a bus to orchard too!!:D haha we walked around the entire orchard for 1 1/2 and dint manage to find them though:/ it turned out they were at the galleria DFS shopping when we called their hotel no at around 1040pm. haha we conferenced call and talked to shuman, cathy and mickey:D then we also called all our guy buddies to talk to them for awhile. we also called xu shu huai, wang shi tong and wang sheng hui! hehe i was really happy when i got to talk to sheng hui leh! it felt so greay to be able to talk to him again!:D haha it was fun talking to them! all of them sounded so startled when they first heard our voices, then realise who we were.. damn cute^^ yupyup! then we hung up at around 1140 and tadaaa.. light out.
ahar! and there comes today:D all of us were so sad when we realise we carn see our buddies in sch anymore.. like limei says, its like losing this sense of motivation and all:/ i really missed shuman alot during sch:/ but limei, chow and i were alr planning to go to the bird park to look for them after sch. we got to noe from their schedule booklet tht they will be at the bird park from 3 to 5. i left guides session halfway and joined limei and chow in our journey to the birk park. im really sorry to all the guides:/ i noe i shldnt haf left for such reasons, but i really will regret if i dun see shuman and shenghui for like the last time. so im really sorry guides! yup so 3 of us took 190 to bktpangjang plaza, transferred to 180 and took to lakeside mrt stn, then 98 to corporation road, then ran for a taxi to birdpark. by the time we reached there, it was already close to 5? we were really freaked out when we saw no signs of our taiwan buddies and their tour buses alright. we thought we have made anuder futile trip, like how we dint manage to find them in orchard road ytd. we decided to approach the 'ticket man' and asked him if he saw any large groups of taiwan students. the moment he told us they left, our heart was like PLOP *dies*. but luckily, chow and limei continued to confirm with him and then came this woman who said tht the taiwan group might still be in the birdpark. they allowed me to enter the main stn of the bird park to check if our taiwan buddies were there. they were really nice to us la.. love them so much:D yupyup so when i was walking towards the main stn, i saw this large group of people carrying this similar backpack and i was so sure they were from taiwan laaa! i was so freaking overjoyed i nearly teared actually:/ yup then they were really surprised to see me there and they were asking me how i turned up here. haha then ya se wang brought me to shuman and i was like WHEEWHEE. shuman ran to me and held my hands u noe u noe!! hehe then i started talking to her about the bird park and all.. then she told me the birdpark 是超酷的^^ yupyup talked to her for quite awhile.. and i managed to see shenghui too!! i waved at him damn enthusiastically la cannn.. he must haf thought i was crazy or sth.. haha but ohwells! i was seriously damn excited when i saw him. then i started to feel quite weird cuz the taiwan guys and girls were starting to look at me, wondering where i popped out from.. so yep, told shuman i will be waiting for them outside along with chow and limei..
when all of them came to the main entrance, chow managed to take a photo with ya se wang!! tht moment was sooo sweeeet la:p haha then i took photos with shuman:D AND AND AND sheng hui waved goodbye to me leh!!! i was so glad!! but sadly, i dint manage to grab him and take a photo with him:/ but ohwells, i must be contented!! hehe at least i managed to see shenghui and shuman again:D yay God is great:D i walked with shuman to her coach and hugged her for the last time.. then yep, byebye taiwan buddiesssss^^
i guess this is the first time i did so much just to see my friends, seriously. maybe its because shuman and shenghui are from taiwan la, but i realise how much i treasure these friendships. they really mean alot alot to me(: shuman has been a really cheerful, cute and sweeet girl(: she's like a little girl, but somehow i seem to be able to talk to her about anything(though i haf to speak in chi). we will continue to email each other and keep in close contact:D and i believe i will see shenghui and shuman again.. such overseas friendships are not easy to come by, and im really glad and touched tht my first ever 2 buddies are so lovely and friendly. i hope this doesnt sound too cliche, but i really will rmbr these 2 buddies forever(: they made me realise how much joy friendships forged less than a week can bring.
i love shuman and shenghui!! LOVEEEEE!
